In the Spring of 2023, I had the honor to document Madie & Ryan's beautiful wedding day. Surrounded by friends and family, the couple had a romantic and heartfelt ceremony at the historic Scarritt Bennett Center in the heart of Nashville, TN, followed by an epic reception at Saint Elle.
The Proposal
Ryan and Madison got engaged on December 13th, 2021 at the Lincoln Center in Manhattan, which held a really special place in their hearts since they moved to NYC in 2020. Ryan planned the proposal and coordinated a surprise appearance from both their immediate families. Shortly after, the couple started planning their Nashville wedding with the help of the amazing Grey Boroff from House of Grey Events.
The Wedding Day
Clear skies and sunshine blessed Madie & Ryan with a perfect Spring Day in Nashville.
They both got ready for the day surrounded by their close friends and family. Madison wore a stunning and classic Pronovias lace gown, finished with a cathedral length veil while Ryan was extremely elegant in a custom-tailored black tuxedo and John Lobb shoes.
he couple chose to mash their need for classic and modern by having their ceremony and portraits at the historic Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville and their lively reception at the new Saint Elle.
Bridesmaids wore beautiful mauve toned Azazie dresses and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxes from Alan David.
After their tear-filled ceremony at Scarrit Bennett Center, we snuck outside for some beautiful couple portraits before hopping on the trolley to head to their reception.
The luxurious floral arrangements and couture linens were showstoppers, paired with classic touches of gold and candlelight everywhere turned Saint Elle’s blank canvas space into an intimately chic indoor garden.
The 12 South Band absolutely killed it! The dance floor was full the entire night and nobody left until the party ended. Once the band was done and we started heading outside for their grand exit, I distinctively recall overhearing a guest say "This was the MOST FUN wedding I've ever been to!". It was a truly memorable evening!
Guests enjoyed a delicious late night snack and signature cocktails.
