Homeland: Carol
I was 8 years old, betting with my uncle whether my aunt's baby was going to be a boy or a girl. I guessed girl, of course, that's what I wanted it to be. I wanted a friend to play with, share dolls with, and to be my pretend sister. I made sure to go to the doctor with my aunt that day to make sure nobody would try to fool me (because who wouldn't wanna fool a 8 year old, right?!). And the doctor finally said, "Well, you're right your lady! It's a girl!".
Wow! Not only was I getting 'Barbie's dream pool' for winning the bet, I was getting a baby cousin! A girl!
Sixteen years later, she's waaaay taller than me, bright blue eyes, smart, funny, full of attitude, and too grown up! I can't even believe how time went by so fast but here we are.
I love her like a sister and I'm so happy we got to go out and take some pretty shots of her. Even though we got interrupted by a baby Boa Constrictor (yes, that's right, a SNAKE!) while in the middle of our shoot. We all survived, even the snake! lol
But here's what we got into:

I love you and miss you everyday! Have fun being 16! <3
Love,
Maria.
